Automatic two-way synchronization
Ketryx imports item types like requirements, defects, test cases, test runs, and test plans from Jama, and writes back status transitions, approval comments, item locking, and relationship edits made in Ketryx's traceability widget. Deleted Jama items are soft-deleted in Ketryx and preserved for traceability, keeping your records complete.
End-to-end traceability across item types
Ketryx recognizes Jama's built-in categories and your custom item types, and maps Jama relationships like Data In - Data Out and Verification into a live traceability graph. Jama's parent/child hierarchy of Components, Sets, and Folders carries through to your traceability matrices and generated documents.
Part 11-compliant approvals and audit trails
A fully customizable approval workflow supports 21 CFR Part 11 electronic signatures. Require approvals for specific Jama item types and statuses; once approved, Ketryx can trigger a status transition and lock the item back in Jama. Prefer to approve in Jama? Ketryx can accept an existing Jama status as approved.
